EL PASO — Student loan debt was recently reported to be at a record high of $1 trillion. The drowning debt was a high trending topic across social media boards Tuesday. On Facebook NC9 asked if any fans were having trouble repaying those loans.
Jorge Valente Martinez replied:
"Try finding a person who isn't."
Bobby Ramos wrote:
"The debt collectors have been hounding me for weeks, but I can't find a good job here with a history degree."
If you are having trouble making those payments, Consumer Reports recommended talking to lenders for a deferment or possibly joining a volunteer program that may qualify for loan forgiveness. But avoiding the problem will definitely not fix it.
If you're one to borrow, a new business in Serbia allows women to 'borrow' husbands. Mr. Right is now available for rent. The company, called 'Rent -A-Husband' allows women to choose a 'well-trained' hubby who can do it all. Prices ranged from $7 to $53 per hour.
For Android mobile users, the world-famous app 'Instagram' was made available for free download. The popular photo-editing application allowed users to transform pictures with different filters.
