Doctors at the Mayo Clinic said they're seeing a dramatic rise in young adults with skin cancer.
After looking through a database of patient records for a county in Minnesota, researchers found that between 1970 and 2009, melanoma cases increased 8 times in women under 40, and 4 times in men in that same age group.
Experts believe tanning beds are to blame for the rising skin cancer rates in young people.
