EL PASO - People all around the world are celebrating Palm Sunday, and here in the Borderland it's no different.
Palm Sunday is the day Christians believe Jesus Christ arrived in Jerusalem only to be crucified days later.
Folks at Trinity First United Methodist Church created an indoor Jerusalem marketplace to help teach kids about Palm Sunday. Re-enactments during the day taught kids the religious story.
"We're just having some fun and having a chance to be in a loving environment where they can explore that question of who is Jesus," Mary Len Stanton said.
Stanton says the church teachings will continue on Easter Sunday.
