EL PASO — An elderly woman died from her injuries Thursday after being victim of a pedestrian accident that happened Feb. 21.
Victoriana Fernandez, 79, was crossing Memphis Street at a Piedras crosswalk when she was struck by a Chevy Silverado. Fernandez was transported to University Medical Center for treatment where she later died.
Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the accident, however police continue to investigate the case.
