EL PASO - Sunday protestors took to the streets of Downtown El Paso to show their support for Syria.
They're protesting the innocent lives being lost in the battle between the country's president and the people who want him out of power. The struggle has already left dozens dead.
"The priority is saving those civilians every single day with out any protection," Ali Mchiri said. "As an Arab citizen, the least we can do is think about the civilians and protect those civilians."
The folks protesting also say that trying to oust a dictator after 23-years in power is a strong message, and they hope the Syrian people know that they have support all around the world, including here in El Paso.
