EL PASO - We're learning more about a movie that's about to be filmed in the Borderland.
"Unlimited" will be shot in El Paso. The movie's story is set in Mexico, and it's about cartels trying to get their hands on a device that could help them get across the border. The movie will feature some well-known actors as well as locals, and it will bring about one hundred jobs to the Borderland.
We caught up with the movie's producer and asked why he chose to film in the sun city.
"We talked very little about going to actual Mexico. I just said, 'you know, I think one of the best places to be would be El Paso.' I know El Paso has a nice history of shooting films here," Chad Gundersen said.
If you want to be part of "Unlimited," just show up to the Wyndham Airport Hotel on Saturday February 18th from 10am until 5pm. They're holding an open casting call, and you could land a speaking role in the movie.
If you'd rather check it out on the big screen, you'll have to wait until Fall 2013. That's when they think it will officially be released in theatres.
