Dozens of Borderland kids got free gifts this Christmas Eve. Ninety-four families from the Montana Vista area lined up for presents.
Community activist Tina Silva gave out 100 toys to kids that otherwise would probably not have gotten much for Christmas. Silva has been doing this for 16 years.
She says she'll keep doing it as long as Jesus lets her. "We're human beings and if you have some more, why don't you give something to the poor? To the children, the children can be happy with a little toy," said Silva.
Tina says when she was younger, she spent more than one Christmas without getting many gifts.
