Community health centers across the country are getting a total of $600 million in stimulus money. President Obama says the goal here is simple. "To help folks hardest hit by this recession, to put people back to work, and to leave a legacy of improvements that will continue to lift up communities for generations to come," said Obama.
The White House says community health center grants will provide care to 500,000 additional patients in underserved communities.
