EL PASO - Police have identified the driver killed in a motorcycle accident in Northeast El Paso as Jose Flores, 64.
According to investigators, Flores was driving a Suzuki motorcycle on Gateway North when a Dodge Charger headed east on Diana drove through a red light and hit the motorcycle in the intersection.
Flores was taken to William Beaumont Army Medical Center where he later died. Investigators said he was wearing a helmet.
Police identified the driver of the Dodge Charger as Merari Williams, 24. Police said she was not injured.
Investigators said speed and alcohol are not factors in the crash.
