EL PASO - News Channel 9 reported to you Monday morning about the shooting death of a woman that occured at 1508 Cactus Wren in the Horizon City area. Investigators have identified the woman to be 43-year-old Hilda Gonzalez, who owned the residence where the shooting happened around midnight.
Sheriff's deputies have taken Gonzalez's son, Leo Martinez, 23, into custody and charged him with murder. Martinez was booked into the El Paso County Detention facility on a bond of $600 thousand.
The investigation is currently still ongoing.
