An El Paso middle school teacher is accused of sexual assault. Tonight we're learning more about the allegations against him.
Jaime Sanchez, 40, is a eighth grade social studies teacher at Ross Middle School. He's also an assistant football coach at Bowie High School. Police say the sexual assault did not involve a student or have anything to do with the school. The alleged incident happened between Sanchez and an ex-girlfriend.
NewsChannel 9 has obtained court documents. In them, the alleged victim says she voluntarily agreed to meet Sanchez. But after they started kissing in her car the situation took a violent turn.
The victim told police Sanchez slapped her several times, then bit her and took off her pants. He then allegedly sexually assaulted her. When she tried to get out the car, he pushed her to the ground and forced her to give him oral sex. She claims Sanchez then raped her.
During the incident the victim alleges she was screaming for Sanchez to stop. Sanchez was released from the El Paso County Jail on a $75,000 bond. He's currently on paid administrative leave while the investigation continues.
