HORIZON CITY - The abandoned Magic Landing Amusement park catches fire Sunday night for the second time in less than a week.
El Paso County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call of a large fire at the abandoned park on Gateway East Boulevard in Horizon City at 9:30 p.m. When they arrived on the scene, a structure in the park was fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters from Socorro, Clint and Horizon were able to put out the fire shortly after arriving, according to the Sheriff's Department.
Last Monday, firefighters put out a massive blaze at the park. Officials suspected arson as the cause of Monday's fire.
Deputies believe arson is the cause of this fire, but are still investigating.
