A 32-year-old man is rescued from the Franklin Mountains with frostbite after he says he was lost for five days.
According to the Sheriff's Office, the man was flagging down traffic on Transmountain Road at about 4:30pm. When sheriff's deputies arrived, the man told them he had been lost since Tuesday.
Deputies say the man had frostbite and cuts to his face. He was also dehydrated and had several insect bites.
Sheriff's officials say the man was never reported missing. He is being treated at a local hospital.
