An armed robber is caught by El Paso Police Officers from the Northeast Regional Command’s Evening Shift, as he was fleeing from the scene. Just after 6:30 Monday night, 22-year old Adan Myers walked into the 7-11 store located at 4950 Dyer and approached the clerk. Police say Myers threatened the clerk with a knife and demanded money. He then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. As Officers were responding to the scene, they spotted Myers and saw him throw items over the wall when he saw the patrol unit. Myers was detained and the Officers recovered cash. Once he was detained the Officers discovered that Myers had three outstanding municipal warrants and was in possession of small amount of marijuana. Myers was arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery(2nd Degree) and Possession of Marijuana Under 2 Ounces(Class B Misdemeanor). He was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for those charges and the outstanding municipal warrants with and is being held under a total bond of $81,126.80.
