There will be no repeat Super Bowl champion this year.
The New York Giants continued their late-season surge by posting their fourth straight victory, a 37-20 road win at Green Bay that eliminates the Packers from the playoffs. Eli Manning threw for 350 yards and 3 touchdowns in the victory outplaying MVP frontrunner Aaron Rodgers.
"We were excited to come here and play. We knew what we were up against and I thought we did an outstanding job," said Giants Head Coach Tom Coughlin.
The Giants have won four straight playoff games on the road dating back to 2007 when they won the Super Bowl.
"I think we're a dangerous team. there's always things for us to improve upon, but I like where we are. I like our attitude. I like the way we're playing," said Coughlin.
The Giants will get a chance for a fifth straight road playoff victory next Sunday when they travel to San Francisco to play the 49ers for the NFC championship and a trip to the Super Bowl on February 5th.
