Using your smartphone may not be the smartest move -- new research suggests the more you use it, the more you're stressed!
Researchers in Britain studied a group of 100 adults. They all filled out surveys regarding their phone use, and underwent tests to assess their stress levels.
Researchers found that using a smartphone for work was not linked to increased stress -- but checking it to keep up with your social life, sometimes leads to compulsive phone use.
The more participants used their phones for social reasons, the more they reported feeling stressed.
