FBI Offers Reward To Catch Serial Robber
Update: "Chubby Robber" Arrested
Authorities have identified him as 45-year-old Ismael Serna Moreno, of Far east El Paso.
Moreno is also being charged with aggravated robbery, having to do with a series of Pawn Shop Robberies.
The FBI says he's robbed three banks since May and they're now offering a reward for his arrest.
The man, dubbed by authorities as the "chubby robber" has robbed two Bank of Americas and a Compass Bank. Investigators say, in each robbery, he passed the clerk a note and threatened to use a weapon. A $2,500 reward is now being offered for information that puts him man behind bars.
He's described as an Hispanic male, late 40's to early 50's. He's approximately 5 foot 7 inches tall with an estimated weight of 250 lbs.
