EL PASO - We all hate those long lines at the airport, but we may be on the way to seeing reduced wait times.
A new law is requiring the TSA to find faster ways to screen military members and possibly their families.
Passengers we spoke with say, that's good news for everyone because it will help reduce long lines.
"It's really a convenience for everyone. We move faster," Virginia Martinez said.
"I think whatever they can do for our service people, men or women, to get them home quicker they should do," Larry Encinas said.
When the screening technique is developed, it will only apply to military folks in uniform on official orders. It could be extended to their families, but that's now up to the TSA.
