"Seeing Santa," is what one child said he was doing today.
That's what parents and kids stationed on post waited in line for today at Freedom Crossing at Fort Bliss did so the children could tell Santa what they really want for Christmas.
"I want Monster High Dolls, I want a Nintendo 3DS and Littlest Pet Shops," another child said.
Macy's Santa Claus came all the way from the North Pole.
"Well we have just decided, my elves and I, to travel all across the country to as many cities as we can to share about the joy of Christmas," Santa said.
To meet the children from El Paso and raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation an organization that grants wishes to children with life-threatening diseases.
"Through the Macy's believe program with every letter that is written Macy's will donate $1 to the Make a Wish Foundation and we're here at Ft. Bliss with all of the children finding out what their wishes are," Santa said.
Santa's Chief Elf says all kids who have a Christmas list can help raise their goal of a million dollars.
"Theres a great big red mail box in every single Macy's store around the country and if you write a letter to Santa Clause and put it in that mailbox we count them all up and then we're going to a dollar to Make a Wish for every single letter that goes in the box," Macy's Nolan Hines said.
If you haven't had the chance to see Santa yet, he will be at the Macy's store at Cielo Vista at 6 p.m.
