EL PASO - With the cold weather, comes the increasing danger of fires, or even carbon monoxide poisoning.
Today, we're learning there's an increase in the number of carbon monoxide emergency calls. The El Paso Fire Dept. said they've responded to 44 calls this year-- that's 19 more than last year.
According to emergency crews, no one has died of carbon monoxide poisoning this year in El Paso. However, the gas is responsible for killing two people last year.
