DONA ANA COUNTY- Deputies have arrested three teens believed to be responsible for school burglaries during Thanksgiving break.
Police say Francisco Medina, 15, told deputies he was responsible for the burglaries and was hiding the stolen property in his closet at home. Medina also led investigators to two accomplices in the rash of break-ins of multiple schools, Carlos Barraza, 16, and Daniel Saucedo, 15.
Deputies have charged Medina and Saucedo with six counts of conspiracy to commit non-residential burglary, tampering with evidence, and six counts of larceny. Barraza is charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit non-residential burglary, tampering with evidence and two counts of larceny. All three are being held in the Doña Ana County Juvenile Detention Center.
