34 Texas Congressman are issuing a last minute plea to free to former border patrol agents.
The agents, Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean are serving 10 year sentences for shooting a suspected drug smuggler.
Prosecutors claimed that the agents attempted to cover up the shooting that happened near Fabens.
The associated press is reporting nearly all 34 members of Texas' Congressional Delegation have signed a letter to President Bush, asking him to commute the sentences.
