EL PASO- As a formality, County Commissioners officially approved an allocation of money for the bidding of the printing and mailing of new voter registration certificates.
The project is for 2012-2013 and County Commissioners have to go through the approval process every other year. The business that wins the bid for the project, will have to print and mail almost 400,000 new voter registration certificates. Of course, the County will cover the cost of the postage.
Last time, Outsource Computer Service Inc. won the bid. The cost for printing was $14,000 and postage was $66,029.82.
