EL PASO - The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man suspected of stealing a power generator, then assaulting the owner.
Victor Ortega is wanted for aggravated robbery.
Deputies said Ortega and two others stole a generator from the back of a pickup truck.
The owner later spotted the generator and approached Ortega and two other men. According to deputies, that's when the three men assaulted the owner, took his cell phone and drove off in his pickup.
Deputies have not identified the two other men involved. Deputies think Ortega is hiding out with friends or relatives in the area.
