EL PASO - It's National Adoption Day, and now 19 El Paso foster-care children have a family and a place to call home.
The Family District Court says they were in state custody because they were victims of child abuse, neglect or abandonment. Tonight they're out of state-care and in a loving home because their adoptions became legal this morning at the El Paso County Courthouse.
Tonight in El Paso, there are still 96 children in foster care.
