UPDATE: 3:30 p.m.- Police have now released the name of the man killed in this wreck.
Police say Hector Alvarez, 27, was driving on Loop 375 when his car flipped over. Alvarez was ejected from the car and died at the scene. Although Alvarez was not wearing a seat belt, speed is not considered to be a factor.
Police are investigating the possibility of a second individual who may have been a passenger in the vehicle and walked away for the collision.
EL PASO - A part of Loop 375 near Montana remain closed this morning. Traffic is backed up because police are still at the scene.
Police shut down the highway following a rollover crash that killed one man. Investigators say the driver lost control of his car. The car then rolled onto the opposite side of the highway. The driver died at the scene.
Police say the man was not wearing a seat belt.
