If you've looked at the sample ballot for the election, you might have noticed a few propositions on the republican ballot that aren't on the democratic one.
Elections administrator Javier Chacon has already gotten a few calls about this. He says its perfectly normal. These propositions are like survey's or opinion polls for people in their party. "Only the Republican who vote on the republican party will have access to these propositions. While the democrats decided not to put any propositions for this primary election," said Chacon. Chacon says the propositions are used for research for the party.
