EL PASO - Police officers from the Westside Regional Command are back at work after they were evacuated during a bomb scare early Monday morning.
According to police, a woman dropped off a package at the police station about 2:45 a.m. because she said it looked suspicious.
Police evacuated the building and closed down surrounding streets, including Osbourne and Sunset. The EPPD Bomb Squad was called in.
The bomb squad determined that the package did not contain a dangerous device, nor did it contain any hazardous substances.
The Westside Regional Command and surrounding streets are now open.
