EL PASO- El Paso has topping another list and this time, it’s great news.
The Sunshine Review, a nonprofit organization that advocates for more online transparency on government sites, has given the El Paso County Website an “A” rating for its efforts in transparency with the public.
The designation makes it the only Texas County to receive an “A”.
Each year the Sunshine Review utilizes its transparency checklist to score states, counties, cities and school districts on their efforts to keep constituents informed. The checklist evaluates websites according to ease of use and accessibility to important documents such as budgets, audits, public records, taxes, and contracts.
