An overnight crash has claimed the life of one man, now investigators are looking into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
Special traffic investigators worked the scene this morning. They are trying to determine what led to the crash that cost one man his life and sent another person to the hospital. Just after 12:30 this morning police and emergency crews were called out to Alameda and South Carolina Drive. That's where they discovered the two vehicle accident. Emergency dispatchers tell us by the time they arrived on the scene... one man was already dead. Another person involved in the wreck was taken to Thomason Hospital, at this time their injuries do not appear to be serious.
Portions of the intersection of Alameda and South Carolina were closed early this morning, the intersection has since been reopened. Police have not released any other details.
