To immitate the dynamic style of Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, Dallas turned to wide receiver Dez Bryant who, like Vick, is fast, agile, and left-handed as well. The Cowboys hope it will prepare them for the 2nd ranked rushing offense in the NFL. Fortunately, Dallas boasts the top rush defense in the league. But they know if they hope to stop the Eagles, it starts with #7.
"He can beat you with his feet. He can throw the ball like it's on a frozen rope. When he throws it, he has weapons. It's up to us to not allow those big plays to happen," said Cowboys linebacker Bradie James.
But head coach Jason Garrett knows Vick is not the only offensive threat they have to pay attention to.
"They can run it. They run it a lot of different ways. They make a lot of plays in space and certainly when Michael Vick is the quarterback. He makes a ton of plays. When DeSean Jackson and Macklin are the receivers, they make a ton of plays," said Garrett.
A win in Philadelphia would move the Cowboys to 4-3 in the season and could move them into a tie for first in the NFC East with New York who plays Miami on Sunday.
