Man Arrested for 5th DWI and Weed Possession After Hit and Run

EL PASO- Police have arrested a man and charged him with DWI and possession of marijuana.

Police were searching for Jaime Lopez, 35, after he was allegedly involved in a hit and run. When they located him, police say he was intoxicated and in possession of marijuana. Lopez has four previous convictions for DWI.

He was booked into the El Paso County Jail on DWI 3rd or More and Possession of Marijuana Under 2 ounces with bonds totaling $8,100.00.
