CANUTILLO - A local school employee is no longer on the job after his arrest on child pornography charges.
Tonight, the Canutillo school board accepted the resignation of Joachim Hees. The FBI said it found dozens of images and videos on Hees' home computer during a raid three years ago.
It wasn't until two weeks ago that he was indicted by a grand jury. Hees spent four years as a computer teacher at Canutillo Middle School before he was arrested on marijuana charges last year.
After being on paid leave for several months, the district gave him a job away from children as a computer technician. He held that job until tonight.
