New Mexico State sophomore quarterback Andrew Manley was injured on NMSU's final play vs UTEP, a 16-10 loss Saturday at Aggie Memorial Stadium. Manley dropped back to pass, but his right knee buckled in the grass turf, then Manley fell to the ground in obvious pain. Manley had to be helped off the field.
Manley had an MRI today, but details were not revealed to the media. Head Coach DeWayne Walker will update Manley's status Tuesday at his weekly press conference.
If Manley cannot play against San Jose State, 2:00pm MT Saturday, Senior Matt Christian would likely get the start.
