The El Paso Independent School District is holding H1N1 Vaccine Clinics for students and their families.
EPISD, in cooperation with Immunize El Paso, will offer five H1N1 Flu
Vaccination Clinics at high schools throughout the district. The event is
primarily designed to provide students with the H1N1 vaccine. However,
members of the general public also may receive a vaccine. Cost for the
vaccine is $5 per person.
Both the H1N1 inactivated flu shot and the flu mist will be available.
Age criteria is six months and older. Children under 10 years old who
received the first vaccine more than 28 days prior can receive their
second dose at one of the clinics.
The schedule for the immunization clinics:
2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, at Irvin High School in the cafeteria
2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at Franklin High School in the
2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at Austin High School in the cafeteria
2 to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, at Bowie High School in the cafeteria
