UTEP Student Collapses, Dies in Class

EL PASO- A UTEP student collapsed and died while in class yesterday.

UTEP officials say sophomore Jacob Moreno was in English class when he collapsed. Moreno was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where emergency officials attempted to resuscitate him, but were unsuccessful.

“We are extremely saddened by the death of UTEP student Jacob Moreno,” said UTEP President Diana Natalicio. “We offer our deepest condolences to his family and friends as they deal with the tragic loss of their loved one.”
