FABENS - A plane crashed shortly after takeoff from the Fabens' Airport Sunday morning.
Paramedics airlifted the two men who were on board the plane to a local hospital.
El Paso County Sheriff's Deputies have identified the men as George Doyle, 52, and William Terrell, 52. They were in stable condition Sunday evening, and are expected to survive.
Witnesses say the plane was about forty feet in the air when it went down. The preliminary investigation says engine trouble likely caused the crash.
