EL PASO- Wedding bells are ringing for the couple who won our Platinum Wedding giveaway.
After a two-and-a-half whirlwind weeks of planning, their big day finally arrived today and Brooke Hosch can now call herself Mrs. Bryan Pearen.
"I can't believe it's today. It's just crazy. I still feel like I’m in a dream," said Brooke.
Wedding organizers, EYT Event Planning and Catering and Lifetime of Memories Bridal and Quince, began planning the big day two and a half weeks ago with help from their vendors.
Anthony Lopez, who owns The Forum Ballroom, gave us a peek of what the couple is getting for their reception. "We actually donated the hall and we made a lot of other things available to them,” said Lopez.
Since Brooke and Bryan wanted to get married on a beach, their reception has a beach theme. "I kind of picked flowers that were both tropical and look like sea creatures and to me, these look like sea urchins," said Marisa Guerrero with Debbie’s Bloomers, who provided the floral arrangements.
The beach theme is also on tables, which have seashells sprinkles and there are also family figurines of Bryan, Brooke and their four children.
"It’s going to be festive. There's just lots and lots and lots of things going on tonight. It's a very special moment for the bride and groom," said Lopez.
Brooke, like any other bride on her wedding day, had a million things to do before walking down the aisle.
But she says having a team to put it together, all free of charge, means the world to her.
"It’s indescribable how thankful I am. This is unimaginable for anybody. So, I can't thank everybody enough. I can't even express how thankful I am, truly," said Brooke.
