The Dallas Cowboys announced Tuesday they will attend the pro day for former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor, but really, they're already set at quarterback with Tony Romo. Dallas will hold a walk through in San Antonio at the Alamodome Wednesday morning, then break training camp in San Antonio and return to the Metroplex for a preseason game on Thursday at Cowboys Stadium. But the Cowboys will not return to Dallas, they will remain in Arlington until their third preseason game, meaning training camp will continue, just not at Valley Ranch.
Jason Garrett said, "I think the biggest thing we try to do as coaches is get our players as ready as possible for playing real football, and we think competitive situations like the blue-white scrimmage we did the other day, and preseason games, are the best way to do that." Cowboys tight end Jason Witten added, "It's kind of our mind set, as a group, to go out there and be proud of what we put on the field. This is the start of the 2011 season, so it's good, and will be a tough challenge for us."
