EL PASO – Firefighters may never know what caused the fire that destroyed a South-Central El Paso warehouse last weekend.
The building was so heavily damaged and the structure is so unstable that the Fire Marshal can't go inside to investigate the cause.
El Paso Fire Department spokesman John Concha said the city plans to tear down the warehouse in the next week.
“The cause has been ruled undetermined with unusual circumstances,” said Concha.
The fire started around 11:00a.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of East Mills Avenue near Piedras.
It caused $250,000 in damage.
