EL PASO - A 15-year-old special needs student is dead after suffering a heart attack at El Dorado High School this morning.
The student later died at Sierra Providence East Medical Center.
The Socorro ISD says the student was in a self-contained classroom for medically fragile students and was resting when a teacher noticed the student stopped breathing.
The teacher immediately began CPR and asked a colleague to call 911.
