EL PASO - Today family and friends of a teen killed in a tragic crash said goodbye to him.
They buried 16-year-old John Cervoni after a funeral service at St. Pius Church in the lower valley.
Cervoni and his friend Aaron Carrillo were killed last weekend on Loop 375.
Police say a drunk driver plowed his car into them as they were helping another friend with car trouble. Friends are still trying to grasp the tragedy.
"It's very hard to see that two of my friends have died because of drinking and driving, so it's very hard to understand," said Cesar Garcia, a friend of the boys.
Funeral services were held yesterday for Carrillo. The suspected drunk driver is charged with intoxicated manslaughter.
