EL PASO - Two mothers will be buried Monday after both were killed in a crash near Las Cruces last week.
The crash happened Wednesday on I-10 West near Las Cruces.
New Mexico State Police say Marialy Morga, 22, was stopped along I-10 in her pickup with the flashers on, when a Fed-Ex truck slammed into the back of it.
Morga and her daughter, Ylairam Morga, 4, were killed in the crash. Morgas 1 year-old son was the only survivor in the crash. He is still recovering from his injuries.
Funeral services for Morga nd her daughter will be held at 10a.m. Monday at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church at 673 Old Hueco Tanks Rd. The burial will immediatly follow the services at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
The driver of the Fed-Ex truck, Elizabeth Quintana, was also killed in the crash and will be laid to rest Monday as well.
Quintana was a single mother of three who enjoyed riding her customized purple Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Her services will be at 10:30 a.m. at Harvest Christian Center, 1345 Export Place, near Helen of Troy Dr. Quintana will be buried at Memorial Pines Cemetery.
Those who attend are asked to wear her favorite color, purple.
