El Paso – Two men were arrested for stealing a stereo from a truck in Central El Paso this morning.
Police were alerted after Juan Vargas, 37, used a chair to break a window to a home.
Police say Vargas and Kevin Hidalgo, 18, then broke into a Chevrolet S-10 to steal the SUV’s stereo.
Both men were located a short distance awat from the vehicle and the stereo was recovered.
Vargas was charged with Criminal Mischief and Burglary of a Vehicle and he was booked into the El Paso County Jail on a $1,050.00 bond. Hidalgo was booked on the Burglary of Vehicle charge and his bond was set at $750.00.
