It's on track to be the fastest sellout in Sun Bowl history. Tonight less than 100 tickets are left for this year's game. The game between Oklahoma and Stanford is all but sold out tonight and the remaining tickets are expected to go fast.
There are a few places around town where you can still get a ticket but you'll be lucky if you snag one of the few remaining tickets for the New Year's Eve game. A handful tickets remain at the five Circle-K locations: Montana and Hawkins, Alameda and Yarbrough, McCombs and Sarahanny, Doniphan and Poplar, and on Dyer Street. There's probably only a couple dozen tickets at all five locations. The tickets are $15 each.
Starting tomorrow, about 80 tickets will be on sale. At the Sun Bowl ticket office located on pinnacle. Those tickets are going for $40 to $50. They'll also be available at ticketmaster locations or ticketmaster.dot.com.
But this is as you said history in the making here if this game sells out by tomorrow as the Sun Bowl ticket office expects. It will be the first Sun Bowl ever to sell out in advance.
