EL PASO - Saturday night more than 1,000 people in the Lower Valley didn't have electricity for about an hour.
A spokeswoman for the utility company said that this power outage was not the rolling blackouts El Paso Electric has been warning its customers about. She said a car crashed into an electric pole in the area of Zaragoza and Americas, and that caused the outage.
Workers restored power around 11pm.
