EL PASO - In case the massive wildfire in Arizona does cause rolling blackouts in the Borderland, several organizations will be ready.
The Red Cross and Salvation Army are just a few agencies on stand-by, if you find yourself without the necessities.
Salvation Army Director John Martin said that they can house up to 130 people a night at their facility.
They also have a mobile kitchen ready to go, if the power goes out.
"We are also offering shelter during the day," Martin said. "If somebody just gets too hot or they lose their power, they're more than welcome to come in here and hang out with us. Have a meal. Have access to the restrooms and the showers. Have a big glass of water, just to sort of cool off."
The Salvation Army is located at 4300 E. Paisano Dr.
