EL PASO - There's a concert on UTEP's campus tonight to raise money to fight sex trafficking in the borderland.
UTEP student Josh Rivera is organizing the "Save the Brave" concert. But he says tonight is only a preview to an even bigger event in the fall. He says many sex trafficking cases come through El Paso each year because we're a border town.
"Not a lot of people realize that 1,300 people get trafficked through El Paso each year, it's a $32 billion industry," Rivera said.
The donation-based concert is tonight at 6p at the Baptist Student Ministry.
