EL PASO - Dozens of people will be staying up all night - but it's for a good cause.
The American Cancer Society is hosting " Relay For Life" at El Paso Community College's Valle Verde campus.
They'll walk from 7pm to 7am raising money for cancer research. Many local survivors will also be there sharing their stories. Organizer Kaci Harrison says if you have nothing to do tonight, it's not too late to join in
"Cancer doesn't sleep so for one night neither do we," Harrison said. "It's a great celebration and a chance for local survivors to come out, it's a great family event."
They're hoping to raise thousands of dollars. That's money that stays here in El Paso for research and services. For more information, visit: https://secure3.convio.net/tacs/site/trr/relayforlife/rflfy11pl/15960176...
