EL PASO--- With dozens of shopping bags overflowing onto the street, the Lopez family was just trying to figure out how to get all their new buys into the car.
"We bought a lot of shoes, jeans shirts, stuff like that," said Chris Lopez, the family's designated driver.
But what's more impressive about this group is how long it took them to buy all of the on-sale merchandise.
"We've been shopping around since 12:00 midnight. All the way to now.. finishing up here at Cielo Vista," Lopez said, as the clock was nearing 6:30 p.m.
Taking just one break, this family shopped and fought their way through the crowds for 16 hours total.
"It's been very awesome you get to meet a lot of people and they all want to get everything. You gotta push people around to get the stuff you want but it's pretty fun."
Pretty fun, for pretty good deals, Lopez said.
For all they bought, the family spent only about $2,500; spending less Friday than last year and getting everything they wanted.
"Last year was a little bit more, but right now I guess savings were a little bit better and we did a little bit better."
And for all of this, the family drove all the way from Chihuahua City, Mex., and planned to head straight home, four and a half hours away.
The Lopez family only stopped to sleep and eat twice.
They say they do this every year, and save up money all year long just for this trip.
